Privacy Policy

1. Overview

ShopProof respects your privacy. This policy explains the information we collect, how we use and disclose it, how long we retain it, and the choices available to you.

2. Information we collect

3. Customer organizations and customer data

For information entered into the ShopProof platform by a customer organization or its users, the customer generally determines why and how that information is used. ShopProof processes that information to provide, secure, support, maintain, and improve the service and according to the customer’s instructions and applicable agreements. Requests concerning customer-controlled records may need to be directed to the customer organization that provided or manages the account.

4. How we use information

5. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information to hosting, infrastructure, storage, email, security, analytics, support, and other service providers that help us operate ShopProof; to professional advisers; to authorities when legally required; to protect users, customers, ShopProof, or others; or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets. Service providers are permitted to process information only for authorized business purposes and subject to applicable obligations.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

ShopProof may use essential cookies and similar technologies for authentication, security, session management, preferences, service operation, and fraud prevention. If non-essential analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking technologies are introduced, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated.

7. Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain customer accounts, comply with contracts and legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, protect security, and support legitimate business operations. Customer data may be retained or deleted according to the applicable customer agreement, account settings, backup schedules, legal requirements, and documented deletion procedures.

8. Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No internet transmission, platform, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, and customers are responsible for protecting their credentials, devices, user access, and account configurations.

9. International access

ShopProof may be accessed from locations outside the United States. Information may be processed in the United States or other locations where ShopProof or its service providers operate, subject to applicable law and contractual safeguards where required.

10. Your choices and requests

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information that ShopProof controls, subject to applicable law, identity verification, contractual obligations, and legitimate retention needs. For customer-controlled platform records, contact the organization that administers your ShopProof account. You may opt out of non-transactional marketing communications while continuing to receive service-related messages.

11. Children’s privacy

ShopProof is a business-to-business service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the website or platform.

12. Third-party services and links

Third-party websites, integrations, and services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. ShopProof is not responsible for their independent practices.
