About ShopProof
ShopProof grew out of firsthand work in quality engineering, manufacturing systems, IT, cybersecurity, workflow automation, databases, and application development. That mix matters: a quality system has to satisfy the controls and traceability quality teams need without becoming software that fights the people who use it every day.
Why ShopProof exists
Manufacturers often end up stuck between two extremes: spreadsheets and shared folders that are hard to control, or large legacy systems that can be expensive, rigid, and frustrating to adapt. ShopProof was built to sit in the practical middle: serious quality controls without unnecessary complexity.

The background behind the product
ShopProof is shaped by work on both sides of the problem: understanding what a manufacturing quality system has to control and understanding how software, infrastructure, security, and automation can make those controls easier to live with.
Chris works directly with internal audits, quality procedures, document control, nonconforming material review, process-change documentation, root-cause evaluation, corrective action, risk reduction, KPI monitoring, and quality-system activities supporting IATF 16949 requirements.
Before moving into quality engineering, Chris led technical support work involving Tier 2/3 escalations, infrastructure, servers, networks, SQL databases, customer communication, and complex troubleshooting.
His technical background includes firewall configuration, network troubleshooting, information-security practices, infrastructure support, and the security considerations that matter when business systems hold controlled company data.
Chris has built with TypeScript, Java, HTML, CSS, SQL, WordPress, Power Apps, Power Automate, and AI-enabled applications, along with database design and workflow automation. That hands-on development background is what made building ShopProof itself possible.
What guides the product
The product is shaped around real operational needs rather than forcing every manufacturer into the same template.
Statuses, permissions, numbering, modules, facilities, dashboards, and workflows can adapt to the way a company already operates.
Approvals, audit history, related records, attachments, exports, and controlled workflows are built in so evidence does not have to be reconstructed later.
ShopProof is still close to the people using it. Feedback can turn into real product improvements without disappearing into layers of bureaucracy.
Where it is going
ShopProof can start with a focused set of quality workflows and expand into a connected system covering corrective action, documents, inspections, audits, equipment, suppliers, traceability, planning, statistical quality, and multi-site governance.
